Emanoel Ferreira is a Brazilian writer born in Belo Horizonte city. He won The Geek Literature Prize 2021 (Amazon) and The Conceição Evaristo Prize for Afrofuturist Literature 2023 (Brazilian Ministry of Culture and Palmares Foundation). He was also a winner in the The Jorge Andrade National Short Story Writing Contest 2021 (2nd place) and Barueri Literature Prize 2020 (3rd place).
He is the author of the urban fantasy book "A Polícia Secreta para Crimes Mágicos" (in free translation: The Secret Police for Magical Crimes). His short stories have already been published in magazines and anthologies, such as in the 2021 and 2023 editions of The Off FLIP Prize for Literature.
