EMANOEL FERREIRA is a Brazilian writer born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. He won the Prêmio Conceição Evaristo de Literatura Afrofuturista 2023 (Brazilian Ministry of Culture and Palmares Foundation) and the Geek Literature Prize 2021 (Amazon).
He is the author of Inventário das Coisas Tortas (Inventory of Wayward Things) and A Polícia Secreta para Crimes Mágicos (The Secret Police for Magic Crimes). He served as a judge for the Prêmio Cidade de Belo Horizonte (Belo Horizonte City Prize), the oldest literary competition in Brazil, and his short stories have been published in magazines and anthologies, including the 2021 and 2023 editions of the Off FLIP Prize for Literature anthology.
