EMANOEL FERREIRA is a Brazilian writer born in Belo Horizonte.
He won the Conceição Evaristo Prize for Afrofuturist Literature 2023 (Brazilian Ministry of Culture and Palmares Foundation) and the Geek Literature Prize 2021 (Amazon).
He is the author of "Inventário das Coisas Tortas" (roughly translated as Inventory of Wayward Things) and "A Polícia Secreta para Crimes Mágicos" (roughly translated as The Secret Police for Magic Crimes). His short stories have already been published in magazines and anthologies, including the 2021 and 2023 editions of The Off FLIP Prize for Literature anthology.
