INVENTORY OF WAYWARD THINGS

During Brazil's military dictatorship (1964–1985), dark presences begin to pursue Gabriel's father, and the family decides to flee from the metropolis of Belo Horizonte to a remote corner of Minas Gerais.

The refuge, however, soon becomes a place of confrontation with the inexplicable. Settled in a territory marked by repression and isolated villages, the boy watches his parents' fear grow while discovering that growing up, in that place, means learning that not everything wishes to be named.

Between disappearances and strange beings, Gabriel comes to understand that the flight may have brought them all closer to danger.
